The FR577RG features three patient comfort positions—upright, first recline, and second/full recline—plus a caregiver-activated Trendelenburg position for clinical positioning. Its articulating headrest, wide soft armrests, varied-density seat and back upholstery, and back-mounted arm pads provide supportive patient positioning and comfort. Two self-storing fold-down side tables offer convenient work surfaces, while removable side panels simplify cleaning and maintenance. Four 5-inch Tente swivel casters, including three locking and one directional-locking caster, support maneuverability and secure positioning. With a 350-lb (158.76 kg) evenly distributed weight capacity, the Lumex Multi-Care Recliner provides a durable, versatile seating solution for demanding healthcare environments.

The Multi-Care Recliner provides three positions for patient comfort: Upright, First Recline and Second Recline / Full Recline A fourth position is the Trendelenburg (Shock) position, which is activated by the caregiver. The different positions allow the chair to be used for patient treatment, rest, reading, therapy, and other clinical activities.
The Trendelenburg position is designed to be operated by the caregiver. The recliner incorporates a gas-cylinder-assisted mechanism to provide smoother Trendelenburg movement and improved lifting assistance.
The top section of the headrest can be moved forward to provide additional positioning and comfort for the patient. This is particularly useful when the chair is being used for longer treatment sessions.
The FR577RG uses a softer seat/back configuration with varied-density foam to provide support and comfort during extended sitting.
The wider, softer armrests provide additional patient comfort. The standard configuration can include Wall Saver armrest caps, while fully upholstered arm configurations are also available.
The side panels can be removed to provide easier access to the recliner for cleaning, maintenance, and component servicing.
