Summit Brakes with hill climbers
Well pleased after fiddling around to get properly adjusted. If you are needing hill climbers, these are superior to the others I have had. Worth the price.

Hand savers!
I love these brakes! If you have sore, arthritic, pre arthritic, etc hands then you need to try these. They are not easy to install, I definitely don’t have them right but they are working great for me…could definitely use some in-depth how-to install and use videos. Also the handle could be more ergonomic, but still easier on the hands than scissor brakes.

Summit Breaks
An excellent product for those traveling on a grade or stairs most days. They really do perform as advertised. I gave them 4 instead of 5 starts as they could use a few more degrees of freedom in mounting hardware to really align with the camber and tube geometries of my chair. They all so can slip back a tiny bit depending on when you set them on grade. Another nice feature is that they hold, even after you release them until you start up in the “unlocked direction”!
Y prior scissor brakes were killing my hand as they were hard to unlock. These are far easier on my hands. Otherwise they are worth every penny!!! Highly recommend them. I’ll write more once I get them on my 25” off road tires and see how well they hold up in the dirt.
