The seat height adjusts in 1-inch increments, allowing the chair to be positioned at a suitable height for the user and bathing environment. The backrest version provides additional upper-body support and attaches without tools.

The seat is constructed from durable blow-molded plastic. This provides a rigid seating surface that is suitable for repeated bathing use and is relatively easy to clean.
The legs allow the seat height to be adjusted in 1-inch increments. The two configurations provide different height ranges: 7932A: 14"–17"; 7939A: 16"–20"
Both versions have a maximum capacity of 600 lb (272.16 kg), evenly distributed. The capacity should not be interpreted as permission to place the entire user's weight on one portion of the seat or frame.
