Does the Forcemech products work strait out of the box?

Forcemech products comes pre-assembled, For Forcemech ARK and Traveler scooter, there is no assembling of any kind you need to do. For Navigators, Carbon F1, Ultralite G10, you will only have to attach the joystick controller on the armrest (for the convenience of choosing left or right hand controller position) and the power chair will be ready for use.

Can the Joystick Controller be mounted on either left or right arm rests?

For Navigators, Carbon F1 and Ultralite G10, The joystick can be mounted on either the left or right armrests quickly by the user, For Forcemech ARK, please let Forcemech or the Dealer know your preferred controller side before purchase so that we may setup the powerchair according to your needs.

How fast can one fold or unfold the Forcemech powerchair?

All Foldable Forcemech products (Navigators, Cabon F1, Ultralite G10, Traveler) can be folded and unfolded within seconds.

Can the Armrest be lifted up?

For Navigators, Carbon F1, Ultralite G10, Traveler the armrests can be lifted up and out of the way.

For Forcemech ARK, the armrests can be lowered and folded away.

This allows easy access to table and desks, or transfer from the wheelchair to other locations such as your sofa or your car.

Can the footrest be lifted up?

For all powerchair models, the footrest can easily be lifted up for your convenience getting in and out of the powerchair.

Can the seat and backrest cushions be removed from the Powerchairs?

Yes, the seat and backrest cushions are attached securely with Hook and Loop (Velcro) tape and can easily be removed. The cushions can be Machine Wash Cold, Tumble Dry Low.

Are Forcemech powerchairs Waterproof?

All Forcemech chairs are Class II Medical Devices with the highest water resistance rating in its class – IPX4: Protects from splashing water, no matter the direction. It is the highest rating obtainable for FDA certification.

Under our own laboratory testing and outdoor testing environments, our chair can go through a thunderstorm with 3 inches of standing water puddle with no issues.

Offering by some other companies that claim water-proof would require a IPX7 Rating, which means their electric mobility products will work under water in a pool.

We are still working on incorporating submarine technology into our wheelchairs and have not reached a breakthrough yet.

Can the Forcemech products fit in a vehicle?

All Forcemech Products are designed to be easily fit into any trunk space. the Navigators, Carbon F1, Ultralite G10, Traveler can all be folded quickly into one piece and effortlessly fit into any vehicle's backseat or trunk space. The Forcemech ARK can be quickly disassembled into 2 pieces and fit into the vehicle easily for transportation.

Can I bring the Forcemech powerchair onto an airplane?

Yes, the Forcemech products (Navigators, Carbon F1, Ultralite G10, Traveler) are under the approved category for airplane travel by the FAA. Various airlines and countries may have different regulations on bringing a power chair onto an airplane, please consult the individual airline or local authority for more details.

Forcemech ARK, due to its high power output, are not rated to be able to travel with airplane.

Can I bring the Forcemech powerchair onto cruise ships?

Yes, ALL Forcemech products are perfect for your next cruise trip. They are designed to work with all aspects of cruise life: tire grip on wet surfaces on the ship or by the beach, all cabin door width, armrests lift to be out of the way for the dining experience, and more!
