Heavy-Duty Bariatric Rollator by Medline
The Medline Heavy-Duty Bariatric Rollator is built for users who require a higher weight capacity and wider hand-grip spacing than a conventional rollator.

The Medline Heavy-Duty Bariatric Rollator is a reinforced mobility aid designed to provide reliable walking support and comfortable seated rest for users who require a higher-capacity, wider rollator. The MDS86800XWS features a durable powder-coated steel frame reinforced to support up to 500 lb (226.8 kg), along with 8-inch wheels and a 23.5-inch distance between the handles for additional room and stability.
The Medline Heavy-Duty Bariatric Rollator folds for convenient storage and transportation and includes under-seat storage for personal belongings. Its 8-inch wheels provide practical mobility for everyday use, while the reinforced steel frame provides the durability and higher weight capacity required for bariatric applications.
Medline Heavy-Duty Steel Bariatric Rollator Features
Loop-Style Hand BrakesThe brake design is operated by pushing the loop-style brake downward to lock the rollator and pulling it upward to release it. The locking function is particularly useful when the user is sitting on the rollator seat.
Height-Adjustable HandlesThe handgrips can be adjusted to accommodate different user heights. This range allows the rollator to be adjusted for a more comfortable hand and arm position while walking.
Padded Seat and Curved BackrestThe rollator features a padded backrest and a 22" high padded seat, allowing users to stop and rest when needed.
Heavy-Duty Steel FrameThe reinforced steel frame construction is designed to provide the additional structural support needed for the rollator's 500-lb weight capacity. It is a heavy-duty rollator that remains relatively lightweight at approximately 24 lb.
8-Inch Wheels ConfigurationThe larger wheels provide a practical balance between maneuverability and the ability to roll over common indoor and outdoor surfaces.
Folding DesignThe rollator folds for storage and transportation. This is useful for vehicle transportation, home storage, closet storage, moving between rooms, and travel.
Underseat StorageThe rollator includes under-seat storage, providing space for personal items while the user is walking. It provides convenient space for carrying personal items while walking, such as a wallet, keys, phone, small shopping items, personal accessories, and reading materials.
Tool Free AssemblyDesigned to be set up without requiring conventional hand tools such as wrenches or screwdrivers. The components can be assembled and secured using the rollator’s built-in hand screws, push-button mechanisms, and other hand-operated fasteners.

Bought this for my grandmother, she will be 98 in May and can handle it with ease. She needed something taller than her previous walker. This walker is SO MUCH BETTER than the model with the tennis balls on the bottom. If your loved one is in need of an easy to use, sturdy and safe walker, do them a favor and purchase this! They’ll love you forever! Incredibly easy to assemble- I had it completed in about 10 minutes max. HIGHLY recommend.

Instructions could be a little easier but overall it was relatively easy and quick to assemble. The sturdiness is excellent and the wider seat makes it nice for resting. The maneuverability is great making it much easier ggetting around. Transporting is a little difficult due to the size when collapsed and the fact that it continually tries to open as you lift it to place in a vehicle. (A small velcro strap around the legs to secure them together works wonders).

Medline Heavy Duty Bariatric Rollator
The hubby loves this heavy-duty rollator from Medline as someone who has gone thru 2 Drive brand ones in the past year - having had trouble with the rear wheels breaking on both. He's a larger guy who needs both knees replaced, but unable currently to get them done, he has to rely on it to be able to get around at all. It arrived today as I was promised by Walmart in the online app. I just ordered it late Tuesday evening so I wasn't actually counting on it being here today.

Some parts were scratched, so i assume it was a return. The boxes were both torn up, and i didn't have high hopes. It was .issing instructions, but somehow, it still turned out well. It's extremely sturdy, easy to use, and feels comfortable sitting on. Im 5'5 and 375 lbs for reference. The extendable habdles are nice, so you dont have to bend over to walk. Obviously, with it being built to be sturdy and habdle 500lbs, it's not the lightest walker I've ever seen, so you may need help loading and unloading it depending on your specific needs. I was able to get it in and out of a Jeep without issue. Overall, Im happy with my purchase and it did well and several surfaces today when i was about and about. Dirt, bricks, gravel, grass etc

Good value walker for big people
This is wide enough for most people even morbidly obsessed. it is very well built for the weight it has been rated for. No wobble or shacking went sitting or walking. The negative was the assembly instructions and one threaded hole that had paint in it and caused a knob to start cross threaded. With a steel pick, I was able to clean the hole and get a different knob to start correctly. I then had to file the first knob threads some so it would start correctly in a different hole. I did go to Midline YouTube and found only a generic video on assembly. In this day and age, a large company should have better instructions and videos.

Very Happy with my purchase
I am so happy with the purchase of this Rollator! It is very sturdy. The seat is comfortable. It was wide enough to accommodate my big hips. I gave a five for assembly, but some people may need two people to put it together. Overall I'm very satisfied with the quality, especially at the price. Since it is a bariatric Rollator, it is a big piece of equipment . It doesn't fit through standard doors.
