The Lumex® Battery-Powered Sit-to-Stand lifts are designed for patients who have difficulty standing up on their own from a seated position.
The Lumex® Battery-Powered Sit-to-Stand Lift by Graham Field (LF2020) provides powered transfer assistance for patients who have difficulty standing independently but can actively participate in the standing process and partially support their own weight. Designed for caregiver-assisted transfers, the LF2020 features a heavy-gauge steel frame, 24V DC powered actuator, adjustable knee pad, quick-release removable foot platform, ergonomic hand pendant, emergency stop button, and an adjustable base that opens from 25.5" to 37.8" using a convenient foot pedal. Its spreader bar adjusts from 36.4" to 70.8" from the sling attachment point, while the 4.7" floor clearance and large maneuvering handles help facilitate positioning around transfer surfaces. The LF2020 supports up to 400 lb evenly distributed, includes an accessory storage bag, and is designed to meet HCPCS E0635 requirements. Graham Field provides a 3-year limited warranty on the frame and spreader bar, 2 years on the actuator, and 1 year on the batteries.
Lumex Sit-to-Stand Powered Patient Lift Features
The LF1050 is equipped with a six-point spreader bar that rotates 360°. The rotating spreader bar is intended to facilitate positioning while maintaining the lift's full-body transfer functionality.
It uses a 24V DC motor to raise and lower the spreader bar. The lift is operated through its ergonomic hand pendant, while the electrical system provides visual and audible notification when the battery charge is low. The emergency/manual lowering system provides an alternative method of lowering the lift in the event of a power or control issue.
The base is opened and closed using an intuitive foot pedal, allowing caregivers to keep their hands available for positioning and maneuvering the lift. The relatively low 4.7" floor clearance also allows the lift base to pass beneath many beds and other equipment when appropriately configured.
The base legs feature a rubber coating intended to help protect furniture and walls during positioning and maneuvering. Large, easy-to-grip handles provide caregiver control when moving the lift.
This provides a convenient location for accessories such as the charger and/or sling-related items.
The LF1050 can be equipped with the optional Lumex DSC250 digital scale.

We are happy with the Lumex sit to stand LF2020
The ease and balance is much better that the older Invacare model we use to have. The Invacare was very difficult to turn in tight areas and over the large tile and grout and was hard on the caregiver (who is 70) to push and turn. Balance was never quite right with patient. I give it 4 stars because it would be nice to have a removable battery pack separate from the controller so as not to risk damage to pendant by unplugging it frequently. This way you could have a backup battery on hand.

My back feels better now that Lumex is doing the lifting.
Well designed and strong. Easy to move around. Supposed to use two people for safety, but I am very careful, and with Lumex feet spread wide there is no chance of rolling over. So I use it by myself. However, not to be used over carpeted area ... but works perfectly over bare floor. Had to also order a good quality lifting sling. Watch the YouTube Videos to see how it works best.

ALF Resident
I find it quite useful. I am a patient in an ALF which I like. Since my mobility is limited one of the conditions of my return was the obtaining of some kind of lift. Since I am a veteran we discussed dealing with the VA but decided that might take too long and I wanted to return from another less comfortable ALF. The unit in this sense has been a godsend.

Lumex stand to sit
the lumex which I purchased was an improvement over the lumex that hospice had brought to my home. It was sort of streamlined ...the same machine but not as bulky. I could move it on the carpet with ease whereas the old model was very difficult to move. Thank goodness! It works very well.
