SUNRISE LIMITED WARRANTY
A. FOR ONE (1) YEAR
Sunrise warrants the cushion to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. This limited warranty applies to:
- JAY Basic Cushion
- JAY Basic Pro Cushion
During this period, with normal use, Sunrise Medical will, at its option, repair or replace the cushion without charge if a defect in materials or workmanship occurs. This warranty does not cover punctures, tears, burns, or the removable cover.
B. FOR TWO (2) YEARS
Sunrise warrants the cushion to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two years from the date of purchase. This limited warranty applies to:
- JAY Triad Cushion
During this period, with normal use, Sunrise Medical will, at its option, repair or replace the cushion without charge if a defect in materials or workmanship occurs. This warranty does not cover punctures, tears, burns, or the removable cover.
C. FOR FIVE (5) YEARS
Sunrise warrants the cushion to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for five years from the date of purchase. This limited warranty applies to:
- JAY Combi
- JAY Soft Combi
- JAY Soft Combi P
During this period, with normal use, Sunrise Medical will, at its option, repair or replace the cushion without charge if a defect in materials or workmanship occurs. This warranty does not cover punctures, tears, burns, or the removable cover.
D. LIMITATIONS
- We do not warrant:
- Damage from neglect, accident, misuse, or improper installation or repair.
- Products modified without Sunrise Medical's express written consent.
- Damage from exceeding the weight limit.
- This warranty is VOID if the original Cushion serial number tag is removed or altered.
- This warranty applies in the USA only. Check with your supplier for international warranty information.
- This warranty is not transferable and applies only to the first consumer purchase through an authorized Sunrise Medical dealer.
E. WHAT WE WILL DO
Our sole liability is to repair or replace covered parts. This is the exclusive remedy for consequential damages.
F. WHAT YOU MUST DO
- Obtain prior approval from us for return or repair of covered parts while this warranty is in effect.
- Claims and repairs should be processed through the nearest authorized supplier. Except for express warranties made herein, all other warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, are excluded.
G. NOTICE TO CONSUMER
- If allowed by law, this warranty replaces any other warranty (written or oral, express or implied, including a warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose).
- This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
