The Feather Chair weighs only 13.5 pounds*, making it one of the lightest wheelchairs on the planet. The Feather Chair raises the bar by utilizing whole new materials. Almost anyone can lift this wheelchair into their car, truck, or SUV. It's quite easy to propel and push.

Transporting the Feather Chair could not be easier. The chair folds down into a small package. First, fold the backrest down and then pull up in the center of the seat. With optional quick-release wheels, a caregiver may easily remove the larger, back wheels with the push of a button. Once you've arrived at your destination, unfolding and attaching the wheels takes less than one minute.

The Feather Chair comes standard with full-length, permanently padded armrests. Swing away, removable legrests are standard, with an option to elevate them. The Feather Chair can support up to 250 pounds and features a comfy 18" wide seat. The chair features a 1" thick, well padded backrest and seat. There are various more inexpensive accessories that can be added to improve the comfort of the chair. Options include a travel bag, a drink holder, and a mobile phone holder.

Standard Features of the Lightweight Folding Feather Chair

• The wheel locks are located at the front of the frame, making them conveniently accessible to the sitting user.
• Wheel locks prevent the wheelchair from rolling forwards or backwards.
• The carer has an integrated braking mechanism that is operated by bicycle-style locking brake levers situated at the push handles.
• These handbrakes allow the caregiver control, security, and convenience while descending or pausing on a slope.

It folds effortlessly, making it portable.  The Feather Chair has quick-release. Wheels and anti-tippers are included for safety. Caregiver brakes on push handles improve safety and convenience.
