With BIGPAW, life in a wheelchair just got a whole lot easier. BIGPAW is a wheelchair footplate, designed with you in mind.  Adrian Hollis, invented BIGPAW after he had troubles with traditional footplates. Fed up with his feet constantly slipping off his foot plate, Adrian designed BIGPAW to be bigger, with curved sides, so that his feet were always safely and securely resting in his footplate. Most of all Adrian used this amazing rubber textured coating on the surface of the foot plate to give you grip as well as a soft feel when barefoot. The touch and feel of this footplate is like nothing on the market.

Why use BIGPAW over traditional footplates?

1. With BIGPAW feet won’t slip and have contact with the castors
2. Feet won’t slip forward off the plate or be drawn under the foot plate
3. No more pressure sores on your heels, the increased size of the footplate allows for increased contact area and reduced pressure points on the foot.
4. Strap fixed in front secures feet onto the plate, so no more sliding forward on bumpy roads or feet falling off the plate during spasms.
5. An amazing rubber texture finish that gives you grip and a soft touch all in one. Great for coming right out of the shower.

	WHY BIGPAW? Traditional manufacturers foot plates are simply a flat piece of plastic or aluminium, just big enough for the balls of your feet to rest. BIGPAW has a large surface area, helping spread the weight of your legs, reducing the pressure through your feet. The rolled sides keep your feet well protected from the castors, so no contact can be made, allowing soft shoes or bare feet the peace of mind that your feet are protected.
BARE FEET FRIENDLY A specialized rubber surface holds your feet in position over all terrains. Designed for wet areas with bare feet, the abrasive properties are low so you can be confident your feet won’t be worn away.
	SMART DESIGN Integrating the leg strap provides improvement over a standard strap by allowing the strap to be fixed in front and in the rear of the legs for when more leg control is required, going down stairs, rough terrain or spasms. Being shorter provides better leg support where the feet cannot move back off the plate, and no more strap sliding up the frame rails.
REMOVEABLE STRAP The strap can be removed and used to assist when transferring from the floor, keeping your legs and chair together, helping maintain stability while transferring, then simply threaded back into the BIGPAW, and it is always with you when required.
