ShowerGlyde Model SG1, by Solution Based
ShowerGlyde Model SG1 is a ground-breaking sliding transfer bench. It is intended for use in areas where there are no barriers near to the tub (e.g., vanity, toilet). The SG1 effortlessly slips over the tub and locks in two places: on the inside and outside of the tub. This enables safe transfer while using the chair. The SG1 can be built as a left or right-hand unit. As a sliding help, one grasp bar is provided on the wall-side of the rails. The user may simply pull or push oneself along the rails.
The SG1 is height adjustable, allowing for clearance of up to a 19.5" tub. For taller tub lips (up to 25"), optional extension legs are available. The SG1 includes a seatbelt as standard, as well as three seat options: an open commode seat for easy washing, a reduction ring, and a solid seat insert.
ShowerGlyde Extension Legs (pair) increase clearance to 25 inches. The ShowerGlyde standard clears 19.5-inch baths.
