The Proactive Medical Protekt Cambria™ is a versatile mobility chair that combines a self-propelled manual wheelchair and a caregiver-operated transport chair in one design.
The lightweight aluminum frame, fold-down backrest, removable desk-length armrests, and swing-away footrests make the Cambria practical for everyday mobility, storage, and transportation. It also includes two sets of wheel locks for the different configurations, anti-tippers, composite footplates, and heel loops. Its quick-release 24-inch rear wheels can be removed to convert the chair into transport mode, using the included 8-inch rear wheels.

VERSATILE DUAL BRAKING SYSTEM
The wheelchair features two sets of brakes designed to accommodate its different configurations. This dual braking system provides appropriate braking functionality when the chair is used as a self-propelled wheelchair or converted into a transport chair, supporting safer and more controlled operation.
QUICK-RELEASE 24-INCH WHEELS FOR EASY CONVERSION
The 24-inch rear wheels can be removed using the quick-release mechanism to convert the self-propelled wheelchair into a transport chair. This tool-free wheel removal simplifies configuration changes and makes the chair more adaptable to different mobility situations.
SWING-AWAY FOOTRESTS WITH COMPOSITE FOOTPLATES AND HEEL LOOPS
The wheelchair includes swing-away footrests equipped with composite footplates and heel loops. The footplates provide a supportive surface for the feet, while the heel loops help maintain foot positioning during use. The swing-away design also improves access during transfers.
FOLD-DOWN BACKREST FOR EASY STORAGE
