The Lumex® Select Comfort 500 Series Mattress is a multi-layer therapeutic foam mattress designed for patients at higher risk for pressure ulcers and high-risk heels. It features a high-density foam support base, secondary comfort layer, convoluted top surface for airflow and cooling, firm side perimeter construction, and a fluid-resistant low-shear polyurethane/vinyl cover. Available in flat- and raised-bolster configurations with 36- and 42-inch widths, the mattress supports up to 450 lb on 36-inch models and 500 lb on 42-inch models.
