The Lumex® Bariatric Quad Cane by Graham Field is a heavy-duty mobility aid designed for larger users who need additional walking support, balance, and stability. Its low-profile 12" × 8" four-point base provides a broad support footprint, while the offset handle positions the user's weight over the base for enhanced balance and control. The cane adjusts from 29" to 38" in 1-inch increments and can be configured for left- or right-handed use without tools. A contoured PVC handgrip provides comfortable hand placement, while the rounded-edge base helps reduce scraping and bruising around the ankles. With a 500 lb evenly distributed weight capacity, Silver Vein finish, and HCPCS E0105 designation, the Lumex Bariatric Quad Cane is designed to provide dependable walking assistance for larger users. Graham Field currently offers the cane as item 6130A in a 2-per-case configuration and 6130A-1 as an individual unit, with replacement tips and knobs also available.

A workhorse cane !
This very unusual quad cane is very heavy, but when you are someone who wants to get around safely, this is the cane. It is extremely useful for tasks such as walking in tall grass, uneven landscape, gravel and many other difficult terrains. If you tend to slip or almost fall, this cane will hold up and won't keel over when you need it the most. It is not really designed, at least from my standpoint, for use in the home for most activities, but is useful on stairs. As time goes by, your arm will strengthen and adapt to this cane.
