For whom are CURVE TETRA GRIP handrims suitable?

For quadriplegics with triceps function as well as wheelchair users with complete hand function, but low hand strength.

What advantages do CURVE TETRA GRIP handrims offer?

The innovative profile shape is larger in comparison to conventional round cross-section handrims and therefore provides quadriplegics with triceps functionality with a significantly more effective pressure surface between hand and handrim. As a result, driving on a flat surface and especially on gradients is less force and easier on the joints and thus ensures better and safer handling of the wheelchair. In combination with the extremely robust anti-slip coating, the handrims allow you to drive and steer much more safely. During braking, the increased contact surface distributes the pressure better and generates less heat.

In general we recommend our CURVE L TETRA GRIP handrims for all tetraplegics with existing triceps function.
