It combines a substantial hauling capability with a streamlined, lightweight design, making it simple to operate. With a single switch, almost anyone can effortlessly load and transport their scooter.
What distinguishes the AL160 is its focus on driving safety. Its open platform design, when folded, significantly improves rear window visibility. Moreover, its installed weight of just 74 lbs allows it to be used with a Class I hitch.
The platform measures 27.5" x 23", accommodating most travel scooters and even larger models.
We particularly like its versatility. The combination of a 350 lbs weight capacity and an automatic hold-down foot enables you to secure and transport nearly any scooter with a 30" to 42" wheelbase without modifications. This includes larger scooters within that wheelbase range.
Key details to remember: optional swing-away arms and battery packs are available. A license plate mount is included, crucial because many states—including NE, KS, PA, VA, CA, AZ, NV, CO, UT, ND, SD, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, HI, AK, FL, TX, & AL—require license plate display on the lift. It's your responsibility to verify your state's regulations. If required, the AL901 license plate relocation kit is recommended.

Harmar Mobility Warranty
Harmar Mobility warrants its lift products against defects in material, mechanical and electrical component (parts), excluding labor costs, batteries, paint and covers, for a period of three (3) years from date of retail purchase, provided that the products have been installed, maintained and operated properly. This warranty does not cover defects in vehicles on which Harmar products are installed or defects in Harmar products caused by defects in any part of the vehicle upon which the product is installed. This warranty does not cover maintenance or adjustments. Harmar will not be charged for labor, consequential damage or repair expenses. Harmar will not, under any circumstances, be liable for the loss of the use of its products or loss of time. This warranty becomes null and void if the product has been lost, damaged by accident, over stressed, misused and/or neglected, or if the product has been modified in any way. Defective parts must be returned, prepaid, to Harmar at the address listed above, for inspection prior to credit, repair or replacement, at Harmar’s option. Harmar’s sole obligation and the exclusive remedy under this warranty is limited to such credit, repair or replacement.
