Wheelchair Slippers do the job
Worst things are: They take a minute to put on or take off, but they stick to the tire, making that easier.. If you for forget and leave them on when you go outside, then you have some slippers to wash. They are supposed to be washed by hand and air dried - that takes a day or two. So I ordered extra sets.
What's good: to my surprise, the chair still rolls well. They do keep the floor clean. And I got them to address squeaky tires, fixes that.
