Acta-Back Wheelchair Backrest Support, by Comfort Company
Acta-Back Wheelchair Backrest Support by Comfort Company provides the perfect support and relief to the hips, back, and shoulders. It has a moldable center part as well as a three-layer foam design with a Visco foam topper. The moldable aluminum stays are offset from the center, minimizing pressure points from the spine, while the unique backrest pad can be removed and molded to provide support and comfort for lumbar, scoliosis, and kyphosis needs.
The Acta-Back also has unique Compass Hardware, which is fully adjustable for height, depth, and recline angle. All adjustments can be done while the user is seated in the wheelchair, and the backrest can be removed vertically in seconds due to the quick release mechanism. The Compass Hardware requires only 1.5" of space on each cane for mounting and fits 3/4", 7/8", and 1" tubing. The Acta-Back is available with either the Stretch-Air or Comfort-Tek cover and is available in 10", 16", 18", 20", or 22" back heights.
