Once it is set up, it can be taken off or put back on in a matter of seconds, but it does not need to be removed to fold the chair. After the adaptor is placed on your folding chair, it quickly and easily clicks into the FreeWheel, gently lifting your front casters off the ground to transform your standard folding wheelchair into a 3-wheel, all-terrain wheelchair that can push you safely over almost any obstacle. |
SPECIFICATIONS
Need 2.5" of round, horizontal side tubing to attach Folding Wheelchair Adaptor. May be angled, as long as the sides are parallel. |
Fits Round horizontal tubing diameter of 1” or 1-1/8” in diameter. Custom tube sleeves available for 3/4”(part#LS-AD34) and 7/8” tubing (Part# LS-AD78). |

Adaptor Weighs 3.5 lbs max personal body weight for the adaptor is 250lbs. Note: Note: ALWAYS use the shortened FLAT SHIM that comes with the ADAPTOR, not the flat shims from the FreeWheel box. |
Motion Composite Folding chairs
Round horizontal tubing with 1-1/4” diameter require the Adaptor MC (Motion Composite), which is available for an additional fee and as a special order item.
