The JAY X2 wheelchair cushion is a lightweight cushion designed for active individuals at moderate to high risk of skin breakdown, who require mild to moderate positioning. It is a non-contoured foam base allows comfortable sitting at the front of the cushion during daily activities.
The JAY X2 is a fluid wheelchair cushion with a reduced profile that is lightweight, maintenance-free, and intended to offer stability and pressure release to active customers. The X2 blends JAY's tried-and-true designs with the company's most recent innovations by drawing on components from its Xtreme and Active cushion.
The cushion's structure is intended to support your body's natural curves and ease any back, tailbone, or coccyx discomfort you may experience, particularly if you spend a lot of time sitting for extended periods of time.
A unique dual-cover design encloses a water-resistant barrier of protection around the foam base. The Jay JX2 offers complete protection against moisture due to its Aqua-guard zipper, anti-wicking inner cover, and machine-washable exterior stretch cover.
Lightweight, Stable Foam Base with Reduced Profile
| The X2's extremely lightweight foam reduces the total weight of the mobility system for active clients, while its 2.25" profile maintains seat-to-floor height. Its flat base enables the client to comfortably sit at the front of the cushion during daily tasks and activities. A notch in the cushion's back relieves strain on the coccyx bone.
