Tailwind Power Assist Wheelchair Demo Day
Jul 22nd 2014

The Tailwind Powered Wheelchair! If you didn't get a chance to attend the Tailwind Demo Day, you can learn all about the event here. The Tailwind Power Assist Wheelchair is an innovative new chair offered by Living Spinal that gives a user controlled boost with the simple flick of a switch. With the
Tailwind Power Assist Wheelchair, the motor and battery is built right into the frame of the chair providing you with easier mobility while retaining a chair with light weight wheels. This allows for a much simpler breakdown than other power assist chairs might provide.
The demo was an educational in-service specifically for the Tailwind, and was attended by Chuck Williams, a representative for the product. In addition, current users of the Tailwind joined the attendees to talk about their story and how the Tailwind has impacted their life. Visitors came from as far as LA to participate in the activities. Living Spinal provided snacks and beverages for this social event and not only showed off the Tailwind, but brought out many of their most popular products for the attendees to demo, including: the
Firefly Electric Handcycle, the Freedom GlidR, and the SmartDrive Power Assist.
Williams brought with him three demo units so any interested participants could test drive the Tailwind Power Assist Chair. Among the test drivers were both children and adults, who all loved the versatility and mobility the product provided. The Tailwind Power Assist Wheelchair is so easy to operate and maneuver that even the youngest participants had a blast taking the chair up and down steep hills. If you were unable to attend the event, contact Living Spinal today to schedule a time to demo the product. Living Spinal has an in-house Tailwind Power Assist Wheelchair that is available to try at any time.
Also joining Living Spinal at the event was Push Girls' very own Mia Schaikewitz. Who had a great time taking the product for a test drive and meeting up with everyone at the Living Spinal Demo. Mia is a TV personality and spokesperson for disability advocacy, and has teamed up with Living Spinal to bring you more information about the most innovative mobility products available.
