ShowerGlyde Model SG2, by Solution Based
The ShowerGlyde Model SG2 sliding transfer bench is intended to fit in environments with a toilet adjacent to the tub. Similar to SG1, SG2 glides effortlessly over the tub and locks in two places: inside and outside of the tub. A extended pair of rails allows the commode to be used over the abutting toilet. The SG2 can be built as a left or right-hand unit. For sliding support, one grab bar is provided on the wall-side of the rails. The SG2 is height adjustable, allowing for tub clearance of up to 19.5". For taller tub lips (up to 25"), optional extension legs are available. The SG2 also has a seatbelt and a seat with three options: an open commode seat for over-the-toilet use, a reduction ring, and a solid seat insert.
